Organisation’s Profile

One Voice Initiative for Women and Children Emancipation is a youth-led volunteer-driven social development enterprise in Nigeria, Africa, established on 5th March 2016. One Voice Initiative for Women and Children Emancipation became incorporated on 30th May 2018 with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria with registration number CAC/IT/NO 112213 under the Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).

One Voice Initiative for Women and Children Emancipation as a youth-led awareness, campaign and advocacy non-profit, non-governmental organization is tasked with research, policy and practice of women and children based interventions ranging from sustainable development goals No Poverty (1), Zero Hunger (2), Good Health and Wellbeing (3), Quality and Affordable Education (4), Gender Equality(5) with a core in Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (6).

Our focus as an organization is on menstrual health management (MHH) and menstrual hygiene management (MHM) as our goal is to end period poverty by 2030 with sustainable partnerships (17) with local, regional, national, and international civil society organizations, social enterprises, and nonprofit organizations.

Our projects are central, and occasionally state-based due to local interventions depending on the impacted community. Some of our other areas of impact include Female Genital Mutilation, Domestic and Gender-Based Violence, Child Marriage, etc.

One Voice Initiative for Women and Children Emancipation is a member of the global partnership to end child marriage - Girls Not Brides as well as a member of the African coalition for menstrual hygiene mangaement, to name a few.

Our Aim

We aim to boost the self-esteem and wellbeing of our beneficiaries.

Our Objectives

  • To care for women, children, youths including, but not limited to, the orphaned, underserved, out-of-school, less-fortunate, and motherless on a global scale.
  • To empower our beneficiaries to be self-dependent and goal-oriented.
  • To create awareness for the need of our recipients amongst the public.
  • To do all such other lawful things as may be incidental and conducive to the attainment of the above objectives or any of them.
