WALK THE CLIMATE CHANGE TALK, May 5, 2018
The Walk held on Saturday, 5 May 2018.
REES Africa in partnership with One Voice Initiative For Women and Children Emancipation (OVIWCE), RecyclePoint, SustyVibes, Climate Wednesday, GirlsHub Africa, other renowned Organisations and the Ministry of Environment, Lagos organised a Walk Against Climate Change tagged “WALK THE CLIMATE CHANGE TALK”
The Walk was a 5KM awareness and sensitization Walk from the Lagos State Secretariat to the Ikeja Local Government Office aimed at enlightening people about their daily activities and the effect on Climate Change.
The Convener of the Walk was Ms. Yetunde Fadeyi from REES Africa.
Climate Change is a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels.
The Walk ended with photograph sessions and networking amongst the represented Organisations.
