Fitness For Funds 2016 shortened as FFF2016 was an event organized on the 27th of August, 2016. This event was in partnership with various organizations with Truppr and Tru Dance Art (TDA) as our major partners. The FFF2016 is an event organized towards using weeks of fitness activities to raise funds for Less-Privileged Homes.

A call for volunteers was made by the organization to get interested and committed volunteers to participate, donate and participate at both the Fitness and Donation activities. Interested Volunteers came from far and wide. Notable Volunteers were student from University of Ibadan, Polytechnic Ibadan, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and celebrities from the Nigerian Movie industry.

Fitness Day 1: This is the phase were volunteers were out through some fitness activities ranging from Jogging, running, but spend more time Painting and putting heartwarming inscriptions on card-boards for campaign and awareness.

Fitness Day 2: This was the second day set for fitness and awareness activities towards raising funds and notifying the communities around Ibadan of the need to support the less-privileged society.

Fitness Day 3: This was the third and last phase for the Fitness and Campaign aspect of the Project. Letters were hence sent out to proposed beneficiaries. Some of these beneficiaries include Little Saint Orphanage, Jesus Christ Ministries Outreach (JCMO) and Children of Promise Orphanage (CHIPROM).

Event and Donation: FFF2016 finally happened on the 27th of August 2016 with Group of Volunteers from OVIWCE visiting Less-privileged homes with modes of transportation to convey them to the event location. A picnic was organized to celebrate the success of the Project and make donations.

  1. This is a well structured programme. Although I was not part of it, I see competence and a great deal of committment. I can’t wait to a part of FFF 2017.
